Rap/Stage name Goldy Gold D is an American hip-hop independent artist from Atlanta, Georgia. He is one of a few rappers who describe himself as free spirited, high-energy, honest, and anxious to get his authentic message through to anyone with a set of speakers.

In 2002, after taking an interest in writing and rapping along with making connections with local artists, Goldy Gold D was well on his way to inking a deal with Motown Records with over a dozen unreleased projects waiting to be heard.

In 2008, he caught a case and was incarcerated for 10 years, but he was released in 2018. He now established himself back in the roots of independence, creating the movement of GoldMinds Entertainment. He has worked with feature producers like King808God, Marcstro Music, Roddy-Rod Records, GoldMouth, and Dj Treybills, as well as artists like Lil Wayne, Shorty Lo son Quando, and Fraternal XX.

 

His soon-to-be-released mixtape, “A Gold World,” will be one of the hottest collaborations to hit the streets of Atlanta. Songs like “Dream Team,” “Who I Am,” and “Da Streets are Mines” will guarantee that listeners will have an ear full of influential cadences and an energetic swagger.
